When I started personal training with Mick I had been out of action for three years with a back injury, had limited mobility and had gained a significant amount of weight. In those three years, I had tried all kinds of diets, classes and trainers to try to get back on my feet and lose the weight I’d gained and nothing had worked. This meant that I had low expectations and limited confidence that this time round would be any different.
Four months later I feel like I have achieved the impossible! I have lost over 20kg, trained with a 30kg weight vest, and completed my first ever 10km run event! My back is strong and I can do things that I thought I would never be able to do again – all because Mick was able to work with my limitations and design programs that developed strength where I needed it!
Two months ago I also started attending the group fitness classes and was overwhelmed with the welcoming family-like group who were encouraging and supportive of me just ‘giving it a go’. Now I am sad if I ever have to miss a class for any reason.
In Motion Fitness has changed my life for the better and my only regret is that I didn’t contact them sooner!
